Drawings and specification
Refer to the drawings or specification your price is based on, including their date or revision. Describe the agreed scope and finishes so a later change to the plans isn't mistaken for work already included.
What's outside the price
List exclusions clearly, such as Building Control and planning fees, kitchen fitting or decorating, if they aren't included. Say who is arranging any work or fees outside your scope rather than leaving the customer to guess.
Unforeseen ground or structural issues
Describe the ground and existing-structure assumptions behind your price. Explain how unforeseen issues would be assessed and how any extra work, price and timing would be agreed with the customer before proceeding.
Payment stages
If you agree payment stages for a bigger job, set out the amount or proportion due at each stage and what it relates to, and confirm them with the customer in writing. Bojit quotes currently say payment is due on completion and Bojit sends one invoice for the full amount, so keep track of stage payments yourself.

- Openings: bi-fold doors and one roof lantern as specified; steel beam to the engineer's design.
