Rooms and surfaces covered
List each room and the surfaces included, such as walls, ceilings, skirting, doors and frames. Note any areas or surfaces outside the price so the customer knows exactly where the work starts and stops.
Preparation level
Describe the filling, sanding and other preparation allowed for, including mist coats on new plaster where appropriate. Distinguish routine preparation from larger plaster repairs, wallpaper removal or other work not included.
Paint supply and finish
Name the paint brand, colour and finish you've allowed for, and say whether you or the customer supplies it. Set out the coats included and how a change of product or finish would be agreed before work begins.
Furniture, protection and exclusions
Say who moves furniture and what protection you've allowed for on floors and belongings. List any exclusions, such as heavy-item moving, exterior work or specialist finishes, and note the access you need to work safely.
